Live Staging of NEFTEGAZ 2022 again in April in Moscow

After a successful staging at the Expocentre exhibition centre in Moscow in April 2021, the Messe Düsseldorf Group is now starting preparations for NEFTEGAZ 2022, the most important trade fair for the Russian oil and gas industry. The positive feedback from exhibitors makes the organizers optimistic about next year and confirms the great interest in cultivating business contacts - especially in difficult times - and being present again in Moscow from 18 to 21 April 2022.

During the four days of the fair, trade visitors can get the latest information about technological innovations for the extraction and processing of oil and gas, products for transport and storage, machinery and equipment for the petrochemical industry, measurement and control technology as well as  safety systems, environmental monitoring, health and safety. Together with the National Oil and Gas Forum, NEFTEGAZ will again offer valuable inspiration and personal encounters.

"The industry needs its most important business platform to keep up to date with trends, make business connections and network in an interactive forum. This was clearly demonstrated by the success of this year's NEFTEGAZ and the feedback from our trade visitors and exhibitors. After the COVID-19 related break at almost all trade fair venues worldwide, there is movement again in the international trade fair business. We are pleased that German exhibitors already took the opportunity in April to make contact with the Russian market on our platform. Especially for those companies that were not able to participate in 2021, the new date of NEFTEGAZ is a good opportunity to resume their business", explains Peter Schmitz, Director International Participations and Services at Messe Düsseldorf GmbH.

Interested companies from the oil and gas industry and the related fields of petrochemicals, energy or materials handling technology can register at www.neftegaz-online.com until 12 January 2022.

The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology has already confirmed its participation in the leading Russian trade fair. On behalf of the Ministry, Messe Düsseldorf and its subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf Moscow are organising a German joint participation as experienced partners. A reduced participation fee and other advantages make participation even more attractive for German exhibitors. This strengthens the export economy and gives companies the opportunity to position themselves on the Russian growth market under the umbrella brand "Made in Germany". Further details on the conditions are available from the exhibitor department of Messe Düsseldorf.

Despite difficult travel conditions, around 449 exhibitors from 23 countries took part in the industry's top Russian event in 2021. Industry giants such as Burintech, CPTDC, GAZPROM, Himprom, Kanex-Krohne Anlagen Export, Samson Controls, Transneft, TMK or URALS PIPE WORKS came to Moscow to meet their customers and make new business contacts. In addition to regional companies, exhibitors from Germany and China were also strongly represented. 21,250 trade visitors took advantage of the event to personally exchange ideas with their business partners and to find out about trends and future-oriented technologies from all sectors. With 93 % of registered trade visitors, NEFTEGAZ almost matched the success of the previous event.

The National Oil and Gas Forum will again be held parallel to NEFTEGAZ in 2022. The organiser and patron of the trade fair is the Russian Ministry of Energy. The trade visitors, who traditionally come mainly from Russia and the neighbouring CIS countries, additionally benefit from a comprehensive conference programme on the latest technologies and scientific findings in the industry.

NEFTEGAZ 2022 is organised and hosted - based on the current safety and hygiene regulations - by its local partner AO EXPOCENTR, Messe Düsseldorf and OOO Messe Düsseldorf Moscow, a subsidiary of the Messe Düsseldorf Group.  Messe Düsseldorf is renowned for its expertise organizing the industry's leading international trade fairs Tube, Valve World and A+A. The VDMA (German Engineering Federation) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation also support the event.
