Long-term partnership: PEASA and Fives
Productos Especializados de Acero (PEASA) contracted Fives to design and supply a complete OTO tube mill line for its a brand-new plant “Tubo Conduit” in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
The new plant with a production capacity of 20,000 tons per year aims to produce electrical mechanical tubing (EMT) for the conduction of electrical wires in industrial facilitates, classified areas and corrosive ambiences.
Fives, a long-term partner of PEASA, designed, manufactured and supplied the complete OTO tube mill line “603 Conduit” in August 2018. The OTO tube mill is equipped with an in-line tube galvanizing system to achieve a long lasting corrosive reduction that is essential in production of conduit tubes. The new plant is scheduled for a start-up in early 2019.
It also merits mention that Fives is a regular sponsor of charitable events organized by PEASA. This year, a golf tournament "PEASA INVITATIONAL", held on October 10, 2018 raised funds for local charities that look after children in need.
