Başatli Boru selects Thermatool Welding System
Basatlı Pipe & Profile Ind. is one of leading manufacturers and industrial companies of Turkey, has begun the creation of it’s new tube and pipe production mill in Başiskele . Basatlı Pipe & Profile Ind. will now be utilising induction welding systems manufactured, delivered and installed by Thermatool.
Thermatool now has 275 Solid State welders in Turkey and with this additional prestigious sale to Basatlı Pipe & Profile Ind., demonstrating the start of the strong relationship.
The CFI and CFD range of Thermatool’s induction welder were selected with notable features including Variable Frequency and Dual functionality (both Induction & Contact) built in.
Thermatool’s Sales Manager Jon West comments, “Variable Frequency gives Başatlı Boru the ability to produce tube and pipe from several different materials, all on the same mill, wherever possible using existing weld rolls and the same basic mill set-up.” Jon adds “We also recommended and specified two CFD dual induction / contact welders which provides two welding processes in one system with quick change capability.”
Murat Bairiki, the Production Executive Officer of Basatlı Pipe & Profile Ind., informs us that, “In order to insure our production quality we prefered to use hi-tech equipment in our new tube mill investment.”
