Cooperation Agreement between the International Tube Association (ITA) and the Metallurgical Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (MC-CCPIT).

We are delighted to announce the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the International Tube Association (ITA) and the Metallurgical Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (MC-CCPIT).

The Agreement between the two international trade and industry organizations was officially signed by MC-CCPIT’s Deputy Secretary General Baojing Wang and ITA Executive Secretary Dietger Schroers, during a ceremony on September 27th, 2016, at the international Tube China trade fair in Shanghai.

It marks the high point thus far in a long history of cooperation and excellent exchanges between the two organizations. It is expected that the new Agreement will help to improve this partnership still further, giving sound support to the global industry by extending international networks and contacts.

Some of the main responsibilities detailed within the framework of the new Agreement are: to form a primary communications hub for all Chinese members, the translation and distribution of the ITA publication ITAtube Journal, and the joint organization of conferences and other events.
