MAC (Magnetic Analysis Corp.) will be featuring its line of nondestruc- tive test instruments and systems at Tube India Booth L-33, as a co-exhibitor with MAC’s represent- ative in India, Inmar Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd.
Information on MAC’s full range of Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, AC and DC Flux Leakage test instruments and systems will be available, including the new Echomac® 25mm Ultra- sonic Rotary tester, the Minimac® 55 single channel eddy current tester, and the Echomac® 500mm Ultrasonic Rotary and Roto ux 500mm Flux Leakage systems for inspecting heavy wall tube.
MAC’s Minimac® 50 and 55 eddy current instruments are high per- formance yet affordable, compact testers that are used to inspect a
range of tubing, including copper, stainless steel, cold drawn welded, and seamless. Operating at speeds over 4000 fpm, they detect short surface and some subsurface defects, including laps, slivers, cracks and weld line faults. Sen- sitivity, phase and lter are easily set on-screen while viewing a full color polar and linear display of real time, true wave form signals. Convenient review of test results on-site or remotely is included. These powerful, compact eddy current testers offer the robust capabilities of MAC’s top of the line, proprietary MultiMac® soft- ware, yet are much more afforda- ble.
Information on the MultiMac® eddy current tester with up to 8 test channels will be available. And data will be present on the Roto- ux® 500mm ux leakage system which, with the Echomac® 500 ultrasonic rotary, meets API stand- ards requiring Ultrasonic testing as a rst method and a second method such as ux leakage for inspecting oil country goods.
