Important information about UK Government exhibitor grants (TAP) for wire and tube trade fairs

The International Wire & Machinery Association (IWMA) is pleased to announce that some UKTI funding has been secured for qualifying UK companies at three trade fairs in the 2008/2009 financial year.

As the Government’s accredited trade organisation (ATO) for the distribution of TAP grants for the wire and tube industry please note that the IWMA also handles all such matters for tube exhibitions through its sister organisation the International Tube Association (ITA).

Subject to both availability and qualifying criteria TAP grants are available as follows:

wire/Tube China 2008, Shanghai, PRC, 23-26 September (Maximum TAP grant of £1,400). IWMA/ITA have “Jasmine” exhibitor packages at this event. Details are published on our website www.iwma.org

Wire & Cable India 2008, Mumbai, India, 20-22 November 2008 (Maximum TAP grant of £1,000). Special shell scheme exhibition stands are available.

Tekno/Tube Arabia 2009, Dubai, UAE, 11-14 January 2009 (Maximum TAP grant £1,400). Special packages will be available and details published at a later date.

UK organisations interested in applying for a TAP grant for any of the above exhibitions are invited to contact the IWMA without delay as the number of grants is limited and will be strictly allocated in order of receipt (subject to the application meeting the UKTI’s qualifying criteria)
