These major concurrent exhibitions co-organised by Al Fajer Information & Service and Messe Düsseldorf will take place early next year in the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

The 2009 event will be the 9th “International Trade Fair for Industrial Machinery, Metalworking, Machine Tools, Dies / Molds and Tubes & Pipes”, although Tube Arabia featured as a separate section for the first time in 2007. An additional special section next year will be Moldex 2009.

Tekno brings together the world’s leading manufacturers, sellers and buyers of light, medium and heavy machinery in a dynamic and vibrant Gulf market aggressively developing its industrial sector as a hedge against the uncertainty of oil prices

Flush with capital funds from an increase in the price of oil, Middle East countries have established industrial areas and major industrial projects have grown steadily. Many free zones have been established which have succeeded in attracting a number of diversified industries.

Tekno addresses the specific requirements of an industrializing economy as it showcases the following exhibition sub sections in addition to Tube Arabia: The Arab International Industrial Machinery Show (AIM); International Machine Tools & Metalworking Machinery Show (IMT); International Exhibition for Wires, Fasteners and Cables Industry (WIRE); International Woodworking Machinery and Equipment Exhibition (WOODMEX); International Welding Exhibition (INTER-WELD) and the International Exhibition for Molds and Dies (MOLDEX).

The event will be supported for the second time by the ITA who will be exhibiting with an information booth with support services. Organisations interested in reserving one of the ITA’s “Oasis” packages, which proved so popular at the 2007 exhibition, are requested to contact the ITA Secretariat.

Tekno, the 9th International Trade Fair for Industrial Machinery, Metalworking and Machine Tools takes place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre in the UAE from 10-13 January 2009. Once again it will incorporate Tube Arabia for exhibitors of tube and pipe manufacturing machines, accessories and allied processes.

The International Tube Association (ITA), as well as being the international supporter will be exhibiting at the fair and is able to offer special value exhibitor packages. These packages are also available for wire and cable companies through sister organisation the International Wire and Machinery Association (IWMA).

Inclusive costs of the above package are US$6,400 for a 12m2 Booth and US$11,600 for 24m2. These prices are for row positions. The local organisers impose a small surcharge for 2 sides open and 3-sides open booths of US$150 and US$200 respectively but please note that these have very limited availability.

A budget booth is available on request: please ask for details.  However, we strongly recommend the De Luxe version as both better value for money and for presenting a much better image.

In addition to the above we have negotiated a special hotel rate at the Novotel WTC Dubai Hotel, situated right next to the exhibition site. These rooms are on a first come first served basis and are subject to availability. (The hotel has an airport transfer service, or taxis are freely available from Dubai Airport)
