Very pleasing outcome for ITA at Boru 2011

The recent Boru exhibition in Istanbul proved to be a very successful event for the ITA, who has been the main international sponsor for several years.

Hitherto the exhibition has taken place every year but will now change to a biennial event with the next edition scheduled for March 2013. Since its inception seven years ago Boru has grown in significance and the largest amount of exhibitor space yet was achieved this year.

In the ITA’s experience the visitor numbers and level of enquiries at Boru 2011 compared very well with recent regional exhibitions attended by the association. A record number for Boru exhibitions of 107 enquiries were obtained by the ITA during the four day event of which 60% were from Turkish organisations. Apart from interest in membership many visitors to the ITA booth were interested in information about the ITA’s forthcoming Pipe & Tube World Conference in Düsseldorf in November this year.

A number of exhibitors canvassed by the ITA at the end of Boru 2011 reported that the quality of visitors encountered at the exhibition was pleasingly high.
