ITA Enjoys Successful Four Days at Boru 2009 Exhibition

The 2009 Boru exhibition in Istanbul, which ran from 5-8 March, exceeded expectations with the ITA securing an impressive number of new and re-newed memberships. In total more than thirty five high quality enquiries were obtained with particular interest shown in ITA exhibitor packages at major tube trade fairs, the forthcoming Pipe & Tube Istanbul technical conference and ITA membership.

Visitors to the ITA booth were very interested in information about the association's 30th anniversary and many compliments were received for the commemorative brochure. Apart from a high level of interest in attending the Istanbul conference there were four approaches from organisations wishing to present papers at the event.

Boru received extensive coverage on Turkish television and in the printed media and, as main international sponsors, this in turn led to very useful publicity for the ITA in the region. Dates for the 2010 Boru exhibition have been confirmed as 4-7 March.
