Acquisition for Benteler Distribution UK Ltd

On the 22 July 2009 Benteler Distribution UK Ltd (BDUK) purchased the goodwill and some assets from the administrator of Perchcourt Ltd. The new trading name will be Perchcourt Stainless and it will be a division of BDUK.

Perchcourt has a good reputation in the industry and has traded for approximately 27 years. The experienced sales team continues to work from the Smethwick office and warehouse. The main products are welded stainless in round tube as well as square and rectangular hollow sections. In addition to this they also stock and sell various channel sections, unequal angle, profiles, fittings and bar.

The intention is to move to larger premises near the existing site to build on the reputation of a fast and efficient service. To assist the development of future sales a larger range of products will be stocked and full advantage will be taken of Benteler Distribution’s 4,000 tons of stainless material held across Europe.
