Steel pipe producer’s profiled tubes range

SALZGITTER Mannesmann Line Pipe (MLP) is a manufacturer of high frequency induction longitudinally welded steel pipe.

The company has more than 100 years’ experience in pipe production, including oil and gas line pipe, oilfield tubes (OCTG), pipe for drinking water and sewage systems, tubes for machinery and plant construction, pipes for long-distance heating systems and structural tubes.

The company uses a wide range of steel grades to produce tube with outside diameters from 4.5" to 24" (114.3-610mm) in wall thicknesses from 0.126" to 0.812" (3.2-20.6mm).

MLP has upgraded its inductive quench and temper production line, as well as its production capability for tubes and structural hollow sections. All of MLP’s available pipe dimensions up to a diameter of 610mm can be annealed. The capacity amounts to 24t/h. API 5CT grades up to N80Q can also be produced, and higher grades such as P110 for oilfields are under development.

The company has also increased its standard range of circular, square and rectangular hollow sections up to a wall thickness of 20.6mm. The production range covers crosssections of 610mm (circular), 400x400mm2 (square) and 500x300mm2 (rectangular), and further enhancement of wall thickness (25mm) and outside dimensions is planned.
