Peeled long products of highest quality
Bültmann peeling lines for steel and aluminum products are especially designed for the more and more demanding criteria for chip removal of different materials.
They are used in the fields of tube and bar production and ensure highest surface demands up to Rz 4 μm.
In conjunction with Bültmann straightening/polishing machines it is even possible to considerably improve the surface qualities and material properties.
Additionally, in the next process step the Bültmann peeling lines may be combined with different plant components for the production of precise fixed lengths, as well as with highcapacity chamfering and end processing machines. This includes the separate milling and chamfering operation, as well as the classical combination of internal facing and external chamfering with standard tools. As a matter of course the Bültmann chamfering machines can be supplied for processing one end or two ends, as well as in a multi-spindle design, depending on the throughput required. Also in these processing steps, great importance is attached to the best surface quality of the ends of long products.
The control of the surface quality is carried out in the final processing step by means of automatic inspection systems with Industry 4.0 connection.
