2009 FABTECH International® & AWS Welding Show, including METALFORM
The FABTECH International and AWS Welding Show, including METALFORM is well established as the U.S. industry event of the year, perfectly timed to provide attendees the opportunity to emerge with the latest metal fabricating solutions to improve production and new business connections that will support plans for a successful 2010.

Up to 35,000 visitors are expected to attend the exhibition in both the North and South Halls of McCormick Place where this year’s combined event features over 900 exhibits, industry innovators, and hundreds of live equipment demonstrations among pavilions dedicated to forming and fabricating, stamping, welding, tube and pipe, lasers, and thermal spray. All of this located in one space so that visitors can have easy access to the most cost effective business solutions to benefit them both today and for the future.
In addition attendees can take advantage of a unified educational curriculum during the 2009 event and choose from a variety of technical seminars, conferences, professional programs. From metal forming, fabricating, tube and pipe and welding technology to economic operation and management issues, the programming at this event has been carefully coordinated to provide the latest and most up-to-date information needed to operate successfully in every aspect of the industry.

The FABTECH International & AWS Welding Show, including METALFORM, is co-organised by the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, Intl. (FMA), the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), the American Welding Society (AWS), and the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA).

This exhibition is fully supported by the International Tube Association (ITA) as the most important one for the industry in North America. The ITA will have its information desk on booth # 4077. Recently the ITA has worked together with the FMA to run a highly successful technical conference in Houston in August 2007 and it has been agreed that another jointly organised technical conference will take place in North America in autumn 2010.
