wire and Tube 2010 hall allocations confirmed
For the twelfth time, complimentary international trade fairs, wire and Tube, the world’s largest and most concentrated events for the industries, will feature the very latest technology from the wire, cable and tube processing sectors at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre from 12 to 16 April 2010.
The range at wire 2010 includes everything from machines for wire production and finishing, tools, auxiliary materials for process engineering to materials and speciality wires. In addition, innovations from the areas of cable, measurement and control technology and test engineering will be presented. Speciality areas such as logistics, conveyor systems and packaging round off the product and services range.
wire will be held in halls 9 to 12 and 15 to 17. The segmentation in halls 15 to 17 is new: fastener technology will present its latest technology in hall 15 and hall 16 is dedicated to the latest processes in the area of spring making. All applications connected to wires and cables, wire and cable machinery and fibreglass machines are located in halls 9 to 12 and 16 to 17.
Tube 2010 will be located in halls 1 to 7. Here, the complete range of products and services will be displayed, including tube production via processing to machining. The exhibition will feature raw materials, tubes and accessories, machinery for the production of tubes, used machines, process technology tools and auxiliary materials and measurement and control technology. Test engineering and special areas such as warehouse automation, monitoring and control systems complement the comprehensive range.
A major topic is the area of tube trade. For the second time, after a successful debut in 2008, pipelines and the area of OCTG (oil country tubular goods) technology will be featured.
Making its debut will be a special sector about profiles and profile technology. It will feature machines and systems for the production of profiles and end products.
After the excellent results of the two events in 2008, wire again expects to welcome about 1,100 exhibitors on a display area of 51,500 m2 in 2010. More than 41,000 visitors will gather information about innovations in the cable and wire sectors.
For the 2010 event, Tube estimates that 35,000 visitors and 1,000 exhibiting companies will meet on a display area of 40,000 m2.
